Ahoy is currently collaborating with Synergy Maritime Group to streamline the process of crew recruitment for vessels. In the near future, it aims to expand its partnerships with various fleet managers and ship owners, providing users with enhanced options to secure ideal sailing positions.

With Ahoy, users can:

• Create a comprehensive profile that includes all certificates, resumes, and other essential professional documents.
• Receive notifications regarding expiring documents, ensuring timely renewals and minimizing gaps in sailing time.
• Engage in direct communication with the Synergy manning team to inform them of availability and receive updates on potential sailing opportunities.
• Stay informed about critical industry regulations, fleet alerts, and circulars, even while onshore.
• Report unsafe conditions to contribute to improved safety and working conditions across the fleet.
• Manage financial matters by receiving pay slips, updating allotment details, and addressing issues directly with Synergy administrative staff.
• Share innovative solutions to common challenges faced by seafarers.

This initial version of the app is now available for users. Feedback is encouraged, whether positive or critical, as it will aid in refining the application to better serve the global seafaring community.

Upcoming features in the next version include:

• The capability to access all travel tickets, letters, and agent information directly from the app, eliminating the need to manage multiple emails.
• A feature to track remaining Non-Resident Indian (NRI) days for accurate availability declarations.
• Document request functionalities from Synergy staff.
